It’s a new day and I am finally able to get a blog entry out! Life has been positively changing for me. During the holiday season I had a new stream of income come forth and now ya girl has returned the workforce. It took 8 months for it to happen, yet I am grateful. 2026 is officially here! It feels good to start off a fresh! I must admit, I was miffed at 2025, but we can't always control the events of life. I am thankful for my support system: Chosen family, bestie, Mom,and Bae. As I write this I'm settling down for the night and preparing to eat my collard greens and black eyed peas. (IYKYK). I managed to cook my infamous collard greens. I haven't made greens in a while so I felt good to try my hand for one of my favorite dishes. I am excited, yet meticulous about how my year is going to go. This year I will be better prepared for some changes, but very watchful of the political landscape which will affect all of us in many ways. 2026 will also be the year of dismantling oppressive systems. 2026 is the year of freedom for all and not just the elite. 2026 will be a test of our grit, but we must stand strong and fight for what's right. Well it's almost time to say goodbye to 2026. This year has gone by fast while it brought us a lifetime worth of ups and downs. 2026 brought fantastic opportunities. I was on the cover of Positively Aware for the March April Edition. It was such a delight to connect with other people who live with HIV. We traded stories and learned a lot from each other. I also had the opportunity to R&B sensation Durand Bernarr live in concert: not once, but twice! I went to the first show with the Professor and the second show with my bestie due to timing and everyone's schedule. It was a much needed vacation from the work life. While great things happened, sadly I was DOGED by Musky's dumb ass and that changed everything! . When this administration fired us federal workers, my finances dried up paying bills. I had to cancel the plans I had for the Philly Naked Bike Ride as well as other nudist events. The best part is that I had and still have a support system through all of this. Well for 2026 I have plans and I'm not going to give up. My goal is to do more naked travels and naturist shenanigans. Here's what I plan to do for 2026 Throw A Naturist Gathering In 2026 I would like to throw a nudist party at some point during the year. I would like for us to gather watch a movie, have a spades tournament, or just a good old fashion party! I hosted one in 2023 but it didn't go as planned. I did more research and I started planning. Let's see what it brings. Travel to More Resorts and Beaches: 2026 will be the year that I go to Gunnison Beach aka Sandy Hook beach. I don't care what I have to do I'm finally going to Gunnison Beach. I would also like to go to Zebulon's Grotto and some other local clubs. I hope 2026 allows me the opportunity to also go to Zipolite! I've seen many naturists post and share their photos from their trip. I've gotta go! A Professional Nude Photo Shoot and Music Video I am more comfortable with my nakedness being on display therefore in 2026, I would like to do a nude photo shoot. I would like to do it in honor of my 40th birthday. I may not do it on my birthday, but at some point during the year. I would also like to do a nude music video. I've been considering writing music for the naturist community. The ideas will come forth. Philly Naked Bike Ride Philly Naked Bike Ride is on my agenda for 2026. With all of the unexpected upheavals, in 2025, I had to change course. I also want to get a good quality bicycle for Philly Naked Bike Ride. 2026 will be the perfect time to protest with nudity! Here we are at the end of 2025! It has been a hell of a year. Political chaos, climate change, and the trials of life has rocked us every whichway. Yet here we are still standing and wondering what the next year will bring. Before the near year enters from stage right, people begin making resolutions of what they want in the new year. Some resolutions are things that could've been done the prior year or the current year, but life said other wise. It is frustrating when certain resolutions aren't achieved, but the next year brings another chance to obtain those desired goals. Maybe, you haven't started on your resolutions because of 2025's dramatic performance. Maybe you don't care to make a resolution at all. Maybe you just want to take 2026 as it comes. That is understandable. Sometimes, you must take it as it comes in order to survive or in order to have peace of mind. Everyone is different. I stopped making resolutions and just made goals to have done by deadlines in the previous year. I often do so when I've been able to set up the well oiled machine to make those things happen. However, when making my style of resolutions. I try my damnedest to prepare for worst case scenario and sometimes it's hard. We can't always predict what will happen and that's just a fact of life. Hopefully 2026 proves to be a less chaotic year and a year of the upheaval of oppressors in the land. If I had to make a new year's resolution, it would be to continue to stand on my humanist principles and making the world a better place for all mankind.
